Survey Results

The Minnesota Voters Alliance conducted the following survey in November following the 2004 election to illustrate the need for reforming the election process of judicial candidates.  One hundred registered Minnesota voters were asked to participate in the survey.

The following survey questions were offered to the voters;

Did you vote for any judicial candidate(s) in the November election?   Yes ____   No____

Do you feel that you had enough information about the candidates to cast any informed votes?   Yes ____   No ____

Here are the results of our survey that clearly illustrate voter disenfranchisment and the need for judicial election reform;

* 96 out of the100 disenfranchised voters surveyed said they did not have enough information to cast any informed votes!

It is important to note that nearly all of these 96 people made statements like "I didn't have a clue!" and "I didn't know ANYTHING about any of the candidates!" We asked the other 4 people what they knew about the candidates, ALL 4 replied that Alan Page played for the Vikings, that's it!
